Hosea Chapter 10 KJV

Israel is reproved and threatened for their impiety and idolatry, and exhorted to repentance.
Israel 1is aan empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit 2unto himself: 3according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly bimages.
aTheir heart 1is divided; now shall they be found faulty: 2he shall bbreak down their altars, he shall spoil their cimages.
For now they shall say, 1We have no king, because we feared not the Lord; what then should a king do to us?
They have spoken words, swearing falsely 1in making a covenant: thus 2judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.
The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear 1because of 2the calves of Beth-aven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the apriests thereof 3that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.
1It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim 2shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.
as for Samaria, 1her king is cut off as the foam upon athe water.
The high places also of 1Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; 2and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.
O Israel, 1thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: 2the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.
1It is in my desire that I should chastise them; 2and the people shall be gathered against them, awhen they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.
And Ephraim is as 1an heifer that is taught, and loveth to 2tread out the corn; 3but I passed over upon aher fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; 4Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.
1Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for 2it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and 3rain righteousness upon you.
1Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou 2didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.
Therefore shall 1a tumult arise among thy people, and 2all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, 3as Shalman spoiled 4Beth-arbel in the day of battle: the mother 5was dashed in pieces upon her children.
1So shall Beth-el do unto you because of ayour great wickedness: 2in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.
