My abreath is corrupt, my days are extinct, 1the graves are ready for me.
are there not 1mockers with me? and doth not mine eye acontinue in their provocation?
Lay down now, 1put me in a surety with thee; who is he that will strike hands with me?
For thou hast 1hid their heart from understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt them.
He that 1speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
He hath made me also a 1byword of the people; and aaforetime I was as a tabret.
Mine eye also is 1dim by reason of sorrow, and all amy members are as a shadow.
Upright men shall 1be astonied at this, and the innocent shall 2stir up himself against the hypocrite.
The righteous also shall 1hold on his way, and he that hath 2clean hands ashall be stronger and stronger.
But as for you all, do ye 1return, and come now: for I cannot find 2one wise man among you.
My days 1are past, my 2purposes are broken off, evenathe thoughts of my heart.
They 1change the night into day: the light isashort because of darkness.
If I 1wait, the 2grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness.
I have asaid to corruption, 1Thou art my father: to the worm, Thou art my mother, and my sister.
And where is now my 1hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?
They shall go down to the 1bars of the pit, 2when our rest together is in the dust.
