Psalms 132

Psalm 132 KJV

David in prayer commendeth unto God his zeal to provide a place for the ark. 8His prayer at the removing of the ark. 11God's promises to David.
A Song of degrees.
Lord, 1remember David, and all his 2afflictions:
How 1he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto 2the mighty God of Jacob;
Surely I 1will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
Until I find out 1a place for the Lord, aan habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
We 1will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
1Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
1Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
For 1thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of 2thine anointed.
1The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; 2Of the fruit of athy body will I set upon thy throne.
If 1thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
For 1the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
1This is my rest for ever: here 2will I dwell; for I have desired it.
I 1will aabundantly bless her provision: 2I will satisfy her poor with bread.
I 1will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
There 1will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a alamp for 2mine anointed.
His 1enemies will I clothe with shame: but 2upon himself shall his crown flourish.
