Psalms 25

Psalm 25 KJV

David's confidence in prayer: 7he prayeth for remission of sins, 16and for help in affliction.
a Psalm of David.
Unto thee, 1O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
O my God, I 1trust in thee: 2let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies 3triumph over me.
Yea, 1let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
1Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.
1Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
1Remember, O Lord, athy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
1Remember not the 2sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: 3according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.
1Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The 1meek will he 2guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
All 1the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
For 1thy name's sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for 2it is great.
What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he 1teach in the way that he shall choose.
His soul ashall dwell at ease; and his seed shall 1inherit the earth.
The 1secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; aand he will shew them his covenant.
Mine 1eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he shall apluck my feet out of 2the net.
Turn 1thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
The 1troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
Look 1upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
Consider 1mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with acruel hatred.
O 1keep my soul, and deliver me: 2let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
Let 1integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
1Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
