David exhorteth princes to give glory to God, by reason of his power, and protection of his people.

1 Give 1unto the Lord, O aye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
2 Give unto the Lord athe glory due unto his name; worship 1the Lord bin the beauty of holiness.
3 The 1voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon amany waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is apowerful; the voice of the Lord is bfull of majesty.
5 The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; 1Lebanon and 2Sirion like a young unicorn.
7 The voice of the Lord adivideth the 1flames of fire.
8 The voice of the Lord 1shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds ato calve, and discovereth the forests: and 1in his temple bdoth every one speak of his glory.
10 The Lord 1sitteth upon the flood; 2yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.
11 The 1Lord will give strength unto his people; 2the Lord will bless his people with peace.
