Psalm 6 KJV

David's complaint in his sickness. 8By faith he triumpheth over his enemies.
To the chief Musician on Neginoth aupon Sheminith, A Psalm of David.
O Lord, 1rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy 2hot displeasure.
Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am 1weak: O Lord, 2heal me; for 3my bones are vexed.
My 1soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?
1Return, O Lord, 2deliver my soul: oh save me 3for thy mercies' sake.
1For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
1I am weary with my groaning; aall the night 2make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
1Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.
Depart 1from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath 2heard the voice of my weeping.
1The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.
1Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
