Psalms 98

Psalm 98 KJV

The Psalmist celebrateth God's salvation toward Israel: 4he exciteth the whole world to join in acclamations of praise, because of God's righteous judgment.
A Psalm.
1O SING unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: 2his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
The 1Lord hath made known his salvation: 2his righteousness hath he aopenly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
He 1hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: 2all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
Make 1a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
1Sing unto the Lord 2with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
With 1trumpets and sound of 2cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
Let 1the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Let the floods 1clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
1Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
