Song Of Solomon 4

Song Of Solomon Chapter 4 KJV

Christ setteth forth the graces of the church: 8He sheweth His love to her. 16The church prayeth to be made fit for His presence.
Behold, 1thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes 2within thy locks: 3thy hair is as a flock of goats, athat appear from mount Gilead.
Thy 1teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none is barren among them.
Thy 1lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: 2thy temples are like a piece of a 3pomegranate within thy locks.
Thy 1neck is like the tower of David builded for an armoury, whereon there 2hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.
Thy 1two breasts are like two 2young roes that are twins, which 3feed among the lilies.
1Until the day abreak, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of 2myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.
1Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.
1Come with me 2from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the 3leopards.
Thou hast aravished my heart, my sister, my 1spouse; 2thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck.
1How fair is thy alove, 2my sister, my spouse! how much 3better is thy love than wine! and 4the smell of thine ointments than all spices!
1Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under thy tongue; 2and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.
A 1garden ainclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.
1Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; acamphire, with 2spikenard,
Spikenard and saffron; 1calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; 2myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:
A 1fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon.
1Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that 2the spices thereof may flow out. 3Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.
