Corinthians 3

Corinthians Chapter 3 KJV

Paul sheweth that he could not instruct the Corinthians in the higher doctrines of Christianity because of their carnal mind; 3this state of mind revealed itself in their factions. 5The most eminent preachers of the gospel are but instruments employed by God in building his church. 10Paul hath laid the only true foundation, Christ Jesus; and others must take heed what they build thereon. 16Christians are God's temple, not to be defiled. 18Worldly wisdom is foolishness with God. 21They that are Christ's must not glory in men.
And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto 1spiritual, but as unto 2carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
1I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
1For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and adivisions, are ye not carnal, and walk bas men?
1For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of 2Apollos; are ye not carnal?
1Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, 2even as the Lord gave to every man?
1I have planted, Apollos watered; 2but God gave the increase.
1So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
1Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: 2and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
For we are 1labourers together with God: ye are God's 2ahusbandry, ye are God's 3building.
1According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as 2a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
1For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, 2which is Jesus Christ.
Now if any man 1build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
1Every man's work shall be made manifest: for 2the day shall declare it, because it ashall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
1If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
1If any man's work shall be burned, 2he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
1Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1If any man adefile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for 2the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
1Let no man deceive himself. 2If any man among you seemeth to be wise in 3this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
1For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
And again, 1The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
Therefore let no man 1glory in men. For 2all things are yours;
Whether Paul, or Apollos, or 1Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or 2things present, or things to come; all are yours;
And 1ye are Christ's; 2and Christ is God's.
