John Chapter 1 KJV

The apostle professeth to declare what he had formerly seen and known of the Word of life, to the end that others might have fellowship with him. 5The substance of his doctrine is, that to have fellowship with God, we must be holy as he is holy; and that if we confess our sins, we shall be forgiven through the blood of Christ.
That 1which was from the beginning, 2which we have heard, which 3we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of 4the Word of life;
(for 1the life was 2manifested, and we have seen it, and 3bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was 4with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have 1fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
And these things write we unto you, 1that your joy may be full.
1This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that 2God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1If we say that we have fellowship with him, and 2walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we 1walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and 2the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
