Ephesians 3

Ephesians Chapter 3 KJV

Paul, in bonds for preaching Christ to the Gentiles, sheweth that the mystery of their calling, heretofore hidden, had been revealed to him, 7that by his ministry God's gracious purpose might be universally known, and the Gentiles be assured of their acceptance by faith. 13He desireth his Ephesian converts not to be discouraged at his sufferings on their account; 14and prayeth that God would strengthen their faith and knowledge of the infinite love of Christ. 20He giveth glory to God for his power in the church by Christ Jesus.
For this cause I Paul, the 1prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
If ye have heard of the 1dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
How that 1by revelation 2he made known unto me the mystery; 3(as I wrote aafore in few words,
Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the 1mystery of Christ)
1Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
1That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
1Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
Unto me, who am 1less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that 2I should preach among the Gentiles the 3unsearchable riches of Christ;
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, 1which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who 2created all things by Jesus Christ:
1To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers 2in heavenly places might be known by the church the 3manifold wisdom of God,
1According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
1In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by 2the faith of him.
Wherefore I desire that ye 1faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
1For this cause 2I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Of whom the 1whole family in heaven and earth is named,
That he would grant you, 1according to the riches of his glory, 2to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
1That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being 2rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to 1comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to 1know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with 2all the fulness of God.
Now unto him that is 1able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, 2according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto him be 1glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
