Ezekiel 2

Ezekiel Chapter 2 KJV

Ezekiel's commission: 6his instructions. 9The roll of heavy judgments spread before him.
And he said unto me, 1Son of man, stand 2upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.
And the 1spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and 2set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
And he said unto me, Son of man, 1I send thee to the children of Israel, to a 2rebellious anation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
For 1they are aimpudent children and stiffhearted. I do 2send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God.
And they, 1whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet 2shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
¶ And thou, son of man, 1be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though abriers and thorns be 2with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: 3be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
And 1thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most arebellious.
But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; 1Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and 2eat that I give thee.
¶ And when I looked, behold, 1an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a 2roll of a book was therein;
And he 1spread it before me; and it was 2written within and without: 3and there was written therein 4lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
