Psalms 108

Psalm 108 KJV

David encourageth himself to praise God: 5whose assistance he prayeth for, in confidence of success according to his promise.
A Song or Psalm of 1David.
O God, 1my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my 2glory.
Awake, 1psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
I 1will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
For 1thy mercy is great 2above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the aclouds.
1Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
That 1thy beloved may be delivered: 2save with thy right hand, and answer me.
1God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will 2divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of 3Succoth.
1Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the 2strength of mine head; 3Judah is my lawgiver;
1Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
Who 1will bring me into 2the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
wilt not thou, O God, who 1hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, 2go forth with our hosts?
1Give us help from trouble: for 2vain is the help of man.
1Through God we shall do valiantly: 2for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
