A prediction of the kingdom, priesthood, triumphs, and sufferings of Christ.
A Psalm of David.
The 1Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou 2at my right hand, 3until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
The Lord shall send 1the rod of thy strength 2out of Zion: 3rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
1Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, 2in the beauties of holiness afrom the womb of the morning: thou hast 3the dew of thy youth.
The Lord 1hath sworn, and will not repent, 2Thou art a priest 3for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
The 1Lord 2at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; 1he shall wound the heads over amany countries.
He 1shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
