The Psalmist professeth love and dutiful service to God in return for his deliverance: 12he studieth to express his thankfulness fitly.
The Psalmist professeth love and dutiful service to God in return for his deliverance: 12he studieth to express his thankfulness fitly.
I LOVE 1the Lord, because 2he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
Because 1he hath 2inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him aas long as I live.
The 1sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell agat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
Then 1called I upon the name of the Lord; 2O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
1Gracious is the Lord, and 2righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
The 1Lord preserveth the 2simple: 3I was brought low, and he helped me.
1Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
For 1thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
I 1will walk before the Lord 2in the land of the living.
I 1believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
I 1said in my haste, All men are liars.
1What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?
I 1will take the 2cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.
I 1will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
1Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
O Lord, 1truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
I 1will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, 2and will call upon the name of the Lord.
I 1will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people,
In 1the courts of the Lord's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. 2Praise ye the Lord.
