Psalm 131 ESV

1David professing his humility, 3exhorteth Israel to hope in God.
A Song of 1Ascents. Of David.
1 O Lord, my heart is not 1lifted up; my eyes are not 2raised too high; I do not 3occupy myself with things too great and 4too marvelous for me.
2 But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned 1child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3 1O Israel, hope in the Lord from this time forth and forevermore.
