Psalms 45

Psalm 45 KJV

The majesty and grace of Christ's kingdom. 10The duty of the church, and the benefits thereof.
To the chief Musician upon 1Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, aMaschil, A Song 2of loves.
My heart ais inditing a 1good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching 2the king: my tongue is the pen of 3a ready writer.
Thou 1art fairer than the children of men: 2grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath 3blessed thee for ever.
Gird thy 1sword upon thy thigh, O most 2mighty, with thy 3glory and thy majesty.
And in thy majesty aride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and 1thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
Thine 1arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
Thy 1throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
Thou 1lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, 2thy God, hath 3anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
All 1thy garments smell of 2myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the 3ivory palaces, whereby 4they have made thee glad.
1Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand 2the queen in 3gold of Ophir.
1Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; 2forget also thine own people, and thy father's house;
So 1shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is 2thy Lord; and worship thou him.
And 1the daughter of Tyre shall be there with 2a gift; even the 3rich among the people shall intreat thy afavour.
The 1king's daughter is 2all glorious within: 3her clothing is of wrought gold.
She 1shall be brought unto the king 2in raiment of needlework: the 3virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.
With 1gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.
1Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.
I 1will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
