Psalms 58

Psalm 58 KJV

David reproving wicked judges, 3describeth the nature of the wicked, 6and devoteth them to God's judgments, 10whereat the righteous shall rejoice.
To the chief Musician, Al-taschith, aMichtam of David.
Do 1ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye 2sons of men?
Yea, in heart ye 1work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
The 1wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray aas soon as they be born, speaking lies.
Their 1poison is alike the poison of a serpent: they are like the bdeaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
Which 1will not hearken to the voice of charmers, acharming never so wisely.
Break 1their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord.
Let them 1melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
As 1a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like 2the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
Before 1your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, aboth living, and in his wrath.
The 1righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall 2wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
So that a man shall say, 1Verily there is aa reward for the righteous: 2verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
