Psalms 91

Psalm 91 KJV

The security and happiness of the godly under the divine protection.
He 1that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall aabide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, 1He is my refuge and my fortress: 2my God; 3in him will I trust.
1Surely he shall deliver thee from 2the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He 1shall cover thee with his feathers, and 2under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy 3shield and buckler.
Thou 1shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
nor for 1the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the 2destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it 1shall not come nigh thee.
1Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because 1thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
There 1shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For 1he shall give 2his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They 1shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou 1shalt tread upon the lion and aadder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou 2trample under feet.
Because 1he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: 2I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
He 1shall call upon me, and I will answer him: 2I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and 3honour him.
1With along life will I satisfy him, and 2shew him my salvation.
