1But 1speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
21That the aged men be asober, 2grave, temperate, sound in 3faith, in charity, in patience.
31The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh aholiness, not bfalse accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4That they may teach the young women to be asober, 1to love their husbands, to love their children,
5to be discreet, chaste, 1keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that 2the word of God be not blasphemed.
6Young men likewise exhort to be 1asober minded.
71In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
81Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
9exhort1servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not aanswering again;
101Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may 2adorn the doctrine of 3God our Saviour in all things.
11For 1the grace of God athat bringeth salvation hath 2appeared to all men,
12Teaching us that, 1denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
131Looking for that blessed 2hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
141Who gave himself for us, 2that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
151These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
