Hebrews 13

Hebrews Chapter 13 KJV

Exhortations to charity, 2hospitality, 3pity for the afflicted, 4chastity, 5contentment; 7to regard the preachers of God's word; 9to avoid strange doctrines; 10to confess Christ; 15to offer up our praises to God by him; 16to do good and to communicate; 17to obey spiritual rulers; 18and to pray for the apostle. 20The epistle endeth with a prayer and salutations.
Let 1brotherly love continue.
1Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby 2some have entertained angels unawares.
1Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
1Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: 2but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
1Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: 2for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
So that we may boldly say, 1The Lord is my helper, 2and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Remember them which ahave the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their 1conversation.
1Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
1Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. 2For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
1We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
1For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
1Wherefore Jesus also, that he might 2sanctify the people with his own blood, 3suffered without the gate.
1Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
1For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
1By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips agiving thanks to his name.
1But to do good and 2to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
1Obey them that ahave the rule over you, and submit yourselves: 2for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
1Pray for us: for we trust 2we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
1But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
Now 1the God of peace, that 2brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, 3that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting acovenant,
1Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, aworking in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; 2to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
And 1I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: 2for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
Know ye that our 1brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
Salute all them that 1have the rule over you, and 2all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
1Grace be with you all. Amen.
