Psalms 111

Psalm 111 KJV

The Psalmist by his example inciteth others to praise God for his glorious and gracious works. 10The fear of God is the source of true wisdom.
Praisea ye the Lord. 1I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, 2in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
The 1works of the Lord are great, 2sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
1His work is honourable and glorious: and 2his righteousness endureth for ever.
He 1hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: 2the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.
He 1hath given ameat unto them that fear him: 2he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
He 1hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
The 1works of his hands are verity and judgment; 2all his commandments are sure.
They astand fast for ever and ever, and are done 1in truth and uprightness.
1He sent redemption unto his people: 2he hath commanded his covenant for ever: 3holy and reverend is his name.
1The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: 2a agood understanding have all they bthat do his commandments: 3his praise endureth for ever.
