Psalms 146

Psalm 146 KJV

The Psalmist voweth perpetual praises to God: 3he exhorteth not to trust in man. 5The benefit of trusting God by reason of his power, truth, justice, mercy, and everlasting dominion.
Praisea ye the Lord. 1Praise the Lord, O my soul.
1While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
1Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no ahelp.
His 1breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
1Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
Which 1made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: 2which keepeth truth for ever:
Which 1executeth judgment for the oppressed: which 2giveth food to the hungry. 3The Lord looseth the prisoners:
The 1Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord 2raiseth them that are bowed down: the 3Lord loveth the righteous:
The Lord 1preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the 2way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
The 1Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. 2Praise ye the Lord.
