Psalms 23

Psalm 23 KJV

David's confidence in God's providential care and goodness.
A Psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my 1shepherd; I 2shall not want.
2 He 1maketh me to lie down in agreen pastures: 2he leadeth me beside the bstill waters.
3 He 1restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness 2for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the 1valley of the shadow of death, 2I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou 1preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou aanointest my head with oil; my cup 2runneth over.
6 Surely 1goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: 2and I will dwell in the house of the Lord afor ever.
