O God, 1thou art my God; 2early will I seek thee: my soul 3thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a adry and thirsty land, where no water is;
To 1see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
Because 1thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
Thus 1will I bless thee while I live: I will 2lift up my hands in thy name.
My soul shall be 1satisfied as withamarrow and fatness; 2and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
When I 1remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
Because 1thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
My soul 1followeth hard after thee: 2thy right hand upholdeth me.
But 1those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into 2the lower parts of the earth.
aThey shall 1fall by the sword: they shall be a 2portion for foxes.
But the 1king shall rejoice in God; every one that 2sweareth by him shall glory: 3but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
