Psalms 84

Psalm 84

The Psalmist longing for the temple worship, 4sheweth the blessedness of attending thereupon: 8he prayeth to be restored to it.
To the chief Musician upon 1Gittith, A Psalm afor the sons of Korah.
How 1amiable are 2thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!
My 1soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: 2my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
Yea, the 1sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
1Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they 2will be still praising thee. Selah.
Blessed is the man 1whose strength is in thee; 2in whose heart are the ways of them.
who 1passing through the valley aof Baca make it a well; the rain also bfilleth the pools.
They 1go afrom strength to strength, 2every one of them in Zion 3appeareth before God.
O 1Lord God of hosts, 2hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
Behold, O God our 1shield, and look upon the face of 2thine anointed.
For 1a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. aI had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
For the Lord God is 1a sun and 2shield: 3the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
O Lord of hosts, 1blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
