Romans 12

Romans Chapter 12 KJV

Paul exhorteth to holiness and conformity to God's will: and to think soberly of the gifts allotted every man respectively. 4We are all members of one body in Christ, 6and should diligently exercise our several gifts for the common benefit. 9Various practical duties recommended. 19Revenge is specially forbidden, and to do good for evil injoined.
I 1BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, 2that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
1And be not conformed to this world: but 2be ye transformed by 3the renewing of your mind, that ye may 4prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
1For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, 2not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think asoberly, 3according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
For 1as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
So 1we, being many, 2are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
1Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether 2prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
1Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: 1he that agiveth, let him do it bwith simplicity; 2he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
1Let love be without dissimulation. 2Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
1Be kindly affectioned one to another awith brotherly love; 2in honour preferring one another;
1Not slothful in business; 2fervent in spirit; 3serving the Lord;
1Rejoicing in hope; 2patient in tribulation; 3continuing instant in prayer;
1Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
1Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
1Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but acondescend to men of low estate. 1Be not wise in your own conceits.
1Recompense to no man evil for evil. 2Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
1If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Dearly beloved, 1avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, 2Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
1Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
1Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
