Psalms 77

Psalm 77 KJV

The Psalmist sheweth what fierce combat he had with diffidence. 10The victory which he had gained by considering God's great and gracious works.
To the chief Musician, to 1Jeduthun, A Psalm aof Asaph.
I CRIED 1unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.
In 1the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my asore 2ran in the night, and ceased not: 3my soul refused to be comforted.
I 1remembered God, and was troubled: I 2complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.
Thou 1holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
I 1have considered the days of old, 2the years of ancient times.
I call to remembrance 1my song 2in the night: 3I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.
Will 1the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?
Is 1his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his 2promise fail afor evermore?
1Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.
And I said, 1This is my infirmity: but I will remember the 2years of the right hand of the most High.
I 1will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.
I 1will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.
1Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: 2who is so great a God as our God?
1Thou art the God that doest wonders: 2thou hast declared thy strength among the people.
Thou 1hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and 2Joseph. Selah.
The 1waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.
aThe clouds poured out water: the skies 1sent out a sound: 2thine arrows also went abroad.
The 1voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.
1Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.
1Thou leddest thy people 2like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
