Titus Chapter 3 KJV

Christians are admonished to be subject to civil powers, and of a peaceable and quiet demeanour. 3They are saved from their sins by God's mercy through Christ, but must maintain good works. 9Genealogies and contentions about the law are to be avoided; 10and obstinate heretics to be rejected. 12Paul appointeth Titus when and where to come to him; 14recommendeth acts of mercy to Christians; 15and concludeth with salutations and a benediction.
Put 1them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, 2to be ready to every good work,
1To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, 2but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
For 1we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
1But after that the kindness and alove of 2God our Saviour toward man appeared,
1Not by works of righteousness which we have done, 2but according to his mercy he saved us, by the 3washing of 4regeneration, and 5renewing of the Holy Ghost;
1Which he shed on us aabundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
That being 1justified by his grace, we should be made 2heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
1This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, 2that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
But 1avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
1A man that is an 2heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
Knowing that he that is such 1is subverted, and sinneth, 2being condemned of himself.
When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or 1Tychicus, 2be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.
Bring Zenas 1the lawyer and 2Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.
And let ours also learn to amaintain good works for necessary uses, 1that they be not unfruitful.
1All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
